Summer Highlights

In summer every visitor who spends at least one night in our hotel can take advantage of theregion’s fantastic offer. The Davos Klosters Inclusive Card gives you free daytime use of all the local cable cars/mountain railways of the Davos Klosters Mountains. You can also use the local buses and the train between Klosters village and Filisur free of charge and there are various reductions and discounts on most of the summer programme activities in Klosters Davos

Only a few steps away from the hotel is a large children’s playground. This is located in the Silvretta Park opposite the hotel and provides ample entertainment for children of all ages. The perfect place for children to meet each other!

The imaginatively designed Dwarf Trail from Klosters (Brachweg) and Aeuja (Mälcheti) is an absolute must for families holidaying in Klosters. People of all ages follow story of Purzel the dwarf and discover his world. In addition to an easy and varied forest walk, the Dwarf Trail provides plenty of opportunities for children and parents to play games, search for and discover all kinds of exciting things. The dwarves’ caps provided at the beginning of the trail make the experience even more real.

The Klosters Lido is only a few minutes away from the hotel. Enjoy the fantastic facilities for every age group with your family. The pools with their magnificent mountain backdrop are heated to 23.5°C and include a swimming pool for fitness, a diving pool with a climbing wall, a water slide and a shady children’s pool made of stainless steel with a variety of fountains for the very small. Next to the sun-bathing lawn are play areas for small children and a beach volleyball court for the older ones.

In summer 2010, the Klosters Davos region added a spectacular high rope park to its attractions. The five courses, each with six to eight stations, offer a very special experience which allow you to stretch yourself to your limits. The most spectacular of the courses is the 12-metre-high pendulum, on which visitors float between earth and sky. And a special children’s course makes sure younger family members can join in the fun too.

Before you “battle” your way through the high rope park on your own, the trained park staff give you detailed safety instructions. Basic belaying principles then apply, with visitors checking each other as well as themselves.

Please note that children under 12 are only allowed to visit the park accompanied by an adult.

From Klosters the best way of getting to the park is by taking the Rhaetian Railway to Davos village. From here it is a ten-minute walk or you can take the bus to Stilli. Both trips are free with the Klosters guest card.

Eight reading benches, four in Klosters and four in Davos, are situated along the various paths and hiking trails. Each seat is equipped with a book box with a selection of books for every age group. Drop by to browse through the contents, read and immerse yourself in a story. A delightful summer offer for children and parents.
